Jessica Fisher

Jessica Fisher (born March 12, 1976 in Claremont, California) is an American poet, translator, and critic. In 2012, she was awarded the Joseph Brodsky Rome Prize Fellowship in literature by the American Academy of Arts and Letters.〔http://www.aarome.org/news/features/2012-13-rome-prize-winners-announced〕

She holds a B.A. in English and Art History from Swarthmore College and a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of California at Berkeley, where she was the Holloway Postdoctoral Fellow in Poetry and Poetics from 2009-2011.
She is the daughter of Ann Fisher-Wirth.
